Stay after the day trips leave
Use the first afternoon for the old bridge area and the next morning for a quieter return. Add Blagaj only when the current local connection and your departure time leave a comfortable margin.
Check every arrival point
Rail services use Mostar railway station. Coaches may use the east or west station, so follow the ticket rather than a generic map label. For Sarajevo, compare the current rail timetable with the bus available for your travel day.
Mostar Airport lists a flight-linked city shuttle at BAM 10. Its timing follows flights, not a turn-up city timetable.
Keep costs adjustable
Treat accommodation, food and visits as chosen allowances. Add the Sarajevo journey, airport shuttle, Blagaj transport and any onward bus to Trebinje separately.

The old-town edge keeps the bridge close without forcing every walk over polished cobbles. A room nearer the bus and railway stations can be useful for an early departure. Check steps, road access and luggage storage.
Getting Around
The old centre is walkable, but steep lanes and smooth stones need care. The airport shuttle, east and west bus stations, railway station and any Blagaj trip are separate journeys.
