Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) to Madrid Center
Compare the listed airport journeys and check where each service stops. Allow time for any onward connection.
Allow roughly 20–40 minutes to the appropriate central station, plus terminal and onward walking. The four-zone single is €2.60. Only T4 has the airport railway station; include the terminal connection if needed. Use a Combinado Cercanías benefit only when it is included in your actual long-distance ticket and follow its validation rules.
The €4.50–€5 fare combines a single metro journey with the €3 airport supplement; any required card purchase is extra. Nuevos Ministerios is a useful interchange, not every traveller’s final stop. A valid pass can have different airport coverage.
The €5 single is separate from normal integrated city tickets. Service runs through the night, but the city endpoint is Cibeles at night and Atocha during daytime operation. Allow roughly 30–60 minutes depending on the stop and traffic, plus waiting.
