Szwagropol lists direct coaches from Kraków MDA to Zakopane, with examples around 2 hours 10 minutes–2 hours 15 minutes. Road traffic can extend that. Compare the Kraków–Zakopane rail timetable when the train times fit your day.
Allow another journey to the mountains
Zakopane is the town base. Kuźnice and Palenica Białczańska are different departure areas for mountain outings. For Morskie Oko, add the transfer to Palenica and the long walk; a coach ticket to Zakopane does not include them or national park admission.
Keep plans flexible around the weather
