The train gives a clear journey from Yerevan Sasuntsi David to Gyumri railway station when the current timetable fits. Check the train type, ticket and return through South Caucasus Railway. Add the transfer from central Yerevan and from Gyumri station.
Road transport may offer another useful time but can leave from a different Yerevan point. Confirm the operator, boarding rule, luggage, fare and Gyumri stop.
An overnight is better when the return leaves little time for the Kumayri district and a museum or workshop. Do not connect the return directly to an international flight. If the schedule is weak, shorten the city plan rather than depending on an old last departure.
Check whether a road service has a fixed terminal or a less formal pickup point, and save it clearly. The wrong side of Yerevan at departure time can remove the benefit of a later bus.
