Warsaw Modlin: the airport bus and train connection

Check for WMI on your flight booking. Warsaw Modlin is a different airport from Chopin, so the city bus and rail advice for WAW does not describe this arrival.

The rail option includes a bus

The airport terminal is linked by a Koleje Mazowieckie bus to Modlin railway station. From there, choose the train that suits your Warsaw stop. Search for the complete airport-to-city journey and allow time for the interchange; the train does not leave directly from the terminal.

Read the airport-ticket conditions

Check the current airport offer with Koleje Mazowieckie. Confirm whether the product includes the shuttle bus and the rail journey you need, and how to buy or activate it. A normal central Warsaw ticket should not be assumed to cover the whole Modlin journey.

Compare a direct road transfer

Check the airport’s current transport options for a coach or vehicle serving your address. Compare the complete quote, final stop and luggage conditions with the bus-and-train journey. Use a dated departure search, particularly for a late flight.

Plan the return leg early

Work backwards from your airline’s required arrival time at the terminal. Include the train, shuttle connection and a buffer if one service is late. Save both the rail and bus departure details so you can check the connection again before leaving.
