Choose town, beach or old village
Spile, Livadhi and Old Himarë are different bases. The official Himarë page describes the old settlement on the hill and the town below. Map the actual accommodation before booking.
Use one outer beach at a time
Check the road, walking conditions and return before leaving for Gjipe, Livadhi or another cove. A coastal map does not show shade, traffic or whether the path is suitable with luggage.
Continue south or north
Use eTransport and a local confirmation for the next bus. The Himarë to Sarandë route keeps uncertain fare and duration fields open so the current planner remains the source.

Spile suits restaurants and buses. Livadhi suits a beach stay but needs its own connection. Old Himarë is uphill and quieter. Check the last kilometre and luggage access before booking.
Getting Around
Walk around the town waterfront, then arrange transport for Livadhi, Gjipe, Porto Palermo or other outer stops. Do not assume the coastal intercity bus serves every beach entrance.
Eating for Less
Compare simple tavern menus and bakeries away from the busiest waterfront tables. Ask how fish is priced and whether sides are separate.
Worth Paying For
A boat or kayak outing can suit calm weather if the route, equipment and return are clear. Keep it optional until conditions are known.
Skip / Save Your Money
The town waterfront and Old Himarë lanes can fill a day without a boat tour or paid beach setup.
Common Tourist Traps & Money Mistakes
A speedboat transfer can leave you at a beach with a fixed return. Confirm landing, pickup, sea conditions and the total return price.
