Plan as far as the village stop
The RRReis line 70 route links Steenwijk station with Giethoorn, including Kerkweg and Dominee Hylkemaweg. The correct stop depends on the part of the village you are visiting. Use your boat operator’s address as the destination, then save the bus back to Steenwijk before leaving the station.
Allow a full outing day from a distant city. A train ticket to Steenwijk completes only the rail part; the bus and final walk still need time.
Compare a whole boat with individual seats
