Airport train, coach or taxi?
Start with your accommodation address. A fast train is not always the easiest arrival if it leaves you with another transfer and a long walk with bags.
Compare the whole route
For public transport, add waiting, changes and the final walk to the advertised journey time. For a car, include the pickup process and likely road delays. Check whether the station is at the terminal or needs a shuttle.
Compare the same number of people
Multiply individual train or coach fares by the travellers who need tickets. Compare that with the full vehicle quote, including relevant supplements. Confirm luggage capacity and any child-seat arrangement. A vehicle price and a per-person ticket price are different units.
Check the last connection
Use the time you expect to leave the terminal, not the scheduled landing time. Check the final local service too. If your flight is late, a flexible bus ticket or a backup taxi plan may be more useful than an inflexible advance ticket.
Book for the actual airport
Use the airport name and code from your booking. Read the operator’s stop list and meeting instructions. Follow the official rank or app pickup point, and keep a receipt for paid travel.
