Day 1Arrive in Porto for the weekend

Day 2Porto, the bridge and Gaia
PortoWalk the historic centre at a comfortable pace, then use the bridge level that fits your Gaia route. Book a cellar visit if wanted and leave time for a riverfront break. A tasting is a separate purchase, and the evening return may involve an uphill walk or local transport.

Day 3A final Porto morning and departure
PortoKeep the morning close to your onward route. Foz can be a separate coastal outing only if the departure leaves several comfortable hours; otherwise enjoy a nearby café and short walk. Check Campanhã or the airport connection before collecting the bags. No third night is included.

Arrange the nights
Book two nights in Porto. The first day allows arrival and a shorter walk; the second is the main full day. The final morning stays close to the departure route unless your booking leaves several comfortable hours.
Plan the main outings
Choose the bridge level before walking to Gaia, and book a cellar visit if that is part of the reason for your trip. Clérigos is another central paid option, with stairs. A journey to Foz needs additional time and should not make the final airport or rail connection rushed.

For two days, keep the historic centre and Gaia and leave Foz or Serralves for another visit. The Douro vineyards need their own longer outing and are not included in this weekend plan.

The day figures add up to €165.00 for one traveller before paid visits and extra journeys. The simple stay line buys one bed. These are chosen spending allowances, not available room offers or measured averages. Replace the stay amount with the full booking cost, including taxes and cleaning.
