Start at South Bus Station
Burgasbus’s intercity schedule lists departures from sector 3. The route through Sarafovo, Pomorie, Aheloy and Ravda serves Nessebar Old Town before continuing to Sunny Beach. M-Bus and DS Bus departures are shown.
Distinguish the New Town route
The alternative through Kableshkovo serves Nessebar New Town. It can still be useful, but include the walk or local connection to the peninsula. Do not assume every bus towards Sunny Beach stops at the Old Town entrance.
Make the day trip easy to finish
Leave about an hour as a planning allowance, with extra time for traffic and intermediate stops; ask for the actual journey time and fare. Check the return stop and last suitable service before sightseeing. Keep the accommodation cost in Burgas and add the return tickets and selected church visits once.
