Tell the driver your destination and planned change so the ticket covers the required zones. Published singles start at €1.90 for one zone, €3.45 for two and €4.80 for three. These are zone fares, not one fare for every stop in this regional journey. Check the current stop-to-stop departure and arrival in Mou-te. Ask whether your connection meets the ticket time and direction rules; do not assume returning via the capital is included in one ticket. Tickets and times |
Change at Central de FEDA
Take L6 from the Ordino area towards Andorra la Vella, then change at Central de FEDA for L4 towards Canillo and Soldeu. The government's network explanation identifies this interchange as the link between the northern and eastern valleys, avoiding a journey all the way into the capital.
It is not the shortest line you could draw on the map. Coll d’Ordino connects valleys by road, but the national route information does not establish a direct scheduled bus over that pass. The map above uses the Ordino and Canillo village markers and shows straight-line distance only.
Check both parts before leaving
Start with the L6 route map and timetable, then the L4 timetable. Use the Mou-te app with your actual stops to see the connection and arrival time. At Central de FEDA, follow the signed boarding point for the Canillo direction. Do not stay on a bus heading into the capital by mistake.
If you prefer a terminus change, L7 from Ordino Auditori Nacional to the national station, followed by L4, is an alternative. It takes you farther into the valley before coming back out. In either version, leave time to find the second bus; separate scheduled services are not a guaranteed connection.
Ask about the ticket before the first ride
Tell the driver that you are travelling from Ordino to Canillo or Soldeu with a change at Central de FEDA. The fare rules combine zone coverage with transfer time and direction conditions. Buy the product confirmed for that journey; a longer alternative via the capital may need a different ticket arrangement.
If you have a timed bridge entry, allow for both buses, the wait between them and the separate Canillo shuttle. A visit without a tight timed booking is easier to fit into this cross-valley day.
Keep the day realistic
Choose the bridge, a village visit or an operating resort activity as your main plan. Leave a long mountain walk for a day when its starting point and return transport are settled. The Canillo and Soldeu guide helps choose the outing.
Check the return towards Ordino separately. If you are moving hotels, arrange luggage drop-off before visiting an attraction and take only the bags you can comfortably manage through the change.
