A direct high-speed train is a useful choice for Paris to Lyon. Many journeys take roughly two hours, although the exact station pair and service change the timing. Search SNCF Connect with your date and compare both the departure and arrival stations.
Most visitors will compare trains from Paris Gare de Lyon into Lyon Part-Dieu or Perrache. Check the ticket carefully: not every low-cost service uses the same Paris station, and Lyon Saint-Exupéry is the airport station, not a city-centre arrival. The cheapest search result may require another fare and more time at either end.
Compare train types as well as prices
TGV INOUI and OUIGO can have different luggage allowances and change conditions. OUIGO Train Classique is a slower product than OUIGO Grande Vitesse.
