Compare the flexible coach with the limited train
Coaches normally provide more choice. Rail can be a pleasant alternative when the Trainkos timetable fits both the outward and return. The bus and railway stations are separate in each city, so compare the door-to-door trip rather than the advertised time alone.
For the coach, confirm the actual departure, station, luggage and fare. For rail, check the direction, ticket purchase and whether the limited return leaves enough time in Peja. A missed train may not have another convenient rail solution.
Rugova is a separate journey after reaching Peja. Do not book a mountain activity as if the intercity ticket delivers you to the trail. Arrange the local transfer, route and return with daylight and weather in mind. If continuing to Pristina Airport, allow for the additional trip from the city station and keep a substantial connection margin.
For an overnight, choose the room after deciding whether the next departure is by rail or coach. A property that is convenient for the centre may still require an early taxi to the selected station.
