Choose a direct journey if it fits
The VR planner lists direct InterCity services between Turku’s city-centre station at Logomo and Tampere. Suitable journeys take around 1 hour 42 minutes. Some results go by a different route with a change and take much longer.
Use the station on this ticket
Turku’s city-centre station, Kupittaa and the port are separate places. Do not go to Kupittaa just because you used it on a Helsinki journey. Check the walking route or Föli connection from your accommodation before leaving.
Keep arrival plans close to the centre
Tampere railway station is a useful starting point for the central streets and rapids. Drop your luggage before a museum or sauna. If a sauna session has a fixed start, leave space for the train, walk and changing arrangements.
