The bus journey

Take LIEmobil line 21 from Vaduz Post and get off at Triesenberg Dorfzentrum for the village centre. Allow about 12 minutes on the bus, then add the walk to your destination.

Tickets for this trip

The full-price adult single for this journey is CHF 4. A day ticket for the same zones is CHF 7; compare that with separate singles if you are returning. If you are adding other parts of Liechtenstein, the CHF 9 network day ticket may be useful. A valid Swiss Travel Pass is accepted on LIEmobil buses. Overnight guests should ask their host about the WELCOME guest pass before buying duplicate travel.

Buy from the driver or activate an electronic ticket before boarding. Use the current ticket information for reductions and pass conditions.

Arriving at the right stop

Dorfzentrum is the useful stop for a village visit. If you have booked a hillside room, ask your host for the closest stop and the final walk with luggage. Do not assume every address described as Triesenberg is beside the centre.

Leave time for the visit and return

The Walsermuseum has a midday closure on weekdays and opens only in the morning on Saturday. Plan the bus around that window if it is your main reason for coming. The village and a viewpoint make a shorter outing than the full WalserSagenWeg.

The LIEmobil timetable gives the actual departure for your travel day. Read the Vaduz guide and Triesenberg guide for the visit itself.
