This route links Tirana, Prizren, Skopje, Ohrid and Berat. The international coach days are part of the experience, not empty spaces between sightseeing. Keep the Tirana to Prizren and Prizren to Skopje days light, and do the same for the Ohrid to Berat crossing. Border time and an interchange can remove most of an afternoon.
Use two nights where the route benefits from a full day: Prizren, Skopje and Ohrid. Berat also deserves a proper day if the final departure allows it. Choose accommodation after checking each international terminal and avoid non-refundable activities on arrival days.
Confirm the entry rules for Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia for your own passport. If Serbia is added, review how the Kosovo entry record affects the direction before buying any through tickets. Keep documents accessible and allow for changes in boarding point or border processing.
Matka and the Ohrid lake outing both need suitable conditions and a workable return. If one day is poor, use the city alternative instead of forcing the schedule. The itinerary is already full; adding Pelister, another country or a long mountain hike would require extra nights.
