Find the Fokidas departure
KTEL Fokidas publishes the Athens–Delphi services. Its Athens agency is at Liosion 260, in the Liosion coach-station area. Confirm the precise boarding point and departure for your date before crossing Athens. Do not use a saved Kifisos pin from a different trip.
Allow a substantial travel block
Start with roughly three hours on the coach, then add the Athens transfer, waiting time and the walk to your room or the site. The exact service determines the arrival. Book the return first if you want a day trip, so the museum does not become a hurried stop before the last bus.
Plan beyond Delphi carefully
The settlement is on a slope, and the archaeological visit includes uneven climbing. Store bags if possible and keep water with you. If the next stop is Meteora, check the weekday coach chain via Lamia and Trikala before fixing the hotel dates. There is no direct train from Delphi; the Athens coach booking does not solve that onward connection.
