Check the Valencia station

The reviewed Renfe timetable lists suitable Euromed departures from Barcelona Sants to València Estació del Nord. Other services can have different stops and durations. Joaquín Sorolla and Estació del Nord are separate stations, so check the exact arrival on your ticket.

Choose the journey for its timing

The route includes changing landscapes, but a guaranteed sea view from one seat is not a reason to pay extra without checking the train layout. Compare the arrival time, luggage and change rules. Bring what you need for a few hours on board instead of relying on a particular catering service.

Compare the coach stop too

Alsa’s coach route can use a different Barcelona departure point from the train. Read the ticket and local connection before choosing. In Valencia, include the journey from the coach station to your accommodation when comparing the two options.

Plan the arrival

The Barcelona guide and Valencia guide explain the local journeys, places to stay and visits. Add the main travel ticket separately to your daily spending plan. The distance above is a straight-line comparison between the city centres; your train, road or flight route can be longer.
