Start at København H and change at Vejle for bus 43. DSB describes InterCityLyn journeys to Vejle of about two hours. The bus to Billund then continues via the airport towards town. Billund has no mainline station to arrive at directly.
Allow enough time at Vejle
Bus 43 takes about half an hour from Vejle to the airport and around 40 minutes to Billund Centret on the checked timetable. Add the change at Vejle and the final walk. A total of roughly 3–3½ hours is a useful planning range when the departures connect; your selected date can differ.
