Plan the journey
A direct fast train gives you much more time in Naples than a slow regional journey. Allow about 1–1½ hours for the main service, plus time to reach the departure point and continue from the arrival. The selected timetable may be different.
Departure and arrival
Napoli Centrale is the main-line arrival. For Sorrento or Pompeii Scavi, follow the separate EAV/Circumvesuviana connection at Garibaldi and buy the appropriate ticket. Do not count it as an automatic continuation of a high-speed booking.
