Read the port name first
Korčula Town, Dominče and Vela Luka are different arrivals. Direct passenger boats from Split can call at the town; car ferries commonly use another port. Do not turn a small fare saving into an unexpected ride across the island.
A suitable passenger sailing takes roughly two and a half to three hours, depending on its calls. Services and operating periods vary, so use your actual date in the Krilo schedule or Jadrolinija planner.
Keep room for boarding and luggage
The Split berth can change, and Korčula Town uses east or west waterfront berths according to operating conditions. Confirm the pier on the day and arrive with time to walk to it. Read the baggage allowance and any bicycle or pet restrictions before paying.
Book the onward island day
If this is a one-night stop on the way to Dubrovnik, make sure the next boat runs before booking the room. Otherwise, plan a mainland journey through Orebić and compare every connection.
