Match the coach to the gate
The journey from Zagreb is roughly 136 km and usually takes around two to two and a half hours, sometimes longer. Book the stop for Entrance 1 or Entrance 2 according to your park ticket. These are separate places, not two names for one terminal. Arriva departures.
Leave time before the entry slot
Allow for traffic, getting off the bus and reaching the entrance. A park slot immediately after the scheduled coach arrival leaves little room for delay. Carry water, a simple lunch and footwear suitable for wet paths.
Buy the park ticket through the official shop. A cheaper late slot gives you fewer hours for the walk and the included park transport; it is not automatically the best choice for a first visit.
Decide where you will sleep next
For a Zagreb day trip, choose the return before starting the walk and finish with time to reach its stop. Continuing to Zadar needs a separate dated booking. An overnight near the park can make a longer programme easier, but ask how you will get between your room and the entrance.
