Arrange the nights first
This plan uses six nights: Zurich, two in Lucerne, Interlaken, Grindelwald and Zermatt. It has several room changes. Treat the last day as departure first; add a Zermatt night if Gornergrat and a longer walk are priorities.
Choose the paid outings
Zurich · Lucerne · Interlaken · Grindelwald · Zermatt. Use the destination guides for the departure points, card coverage and visitor choices. Keep high viewpoints movable where booking conditions allow, and price transport to a free walking route separately.
If you have fewer days
Keep Lucerne and one mountain base. Drop either the Bernese Oberland or Zermatt rather than racing through both.
Build the budget from nights and days
The day figures add up to €1,731.00 for one traveller before paid visits and extra journeys. The private-room line buys the whole room; divide only that part when sharing. These are chosen euro allowances, not available room offers or measured averages. Swiss businesses normally quote CHF. The euro examples are not CHF prices or a currency conversion: replace them with actual bookings and convert using your payment provider if you need a euro total.
Add paid visits, mountain transport, excursions, intercity tickets and airport journeys. The day notes include accommodation, food, local travel and small extras; the final day has no extra overnight allowance. Adjust local travel if a valid guest card covers it. The city budget cards are an alternative plan, so do not add them on top of this subtotal.
