A short ride still needs the right ticket
Pula and Rovinj are about 37 km apart by the coach route. Many departures take around 40 to 45 minutes. Prices vary between services, so compare the one you will actually use rather than assuming every coach has the same fare. Arriva departures.
Get to the main bus station
Leave from Pula's coach station at Trg 1. istarske brigade. It is separate from the Arena entrance and from beach-area city bus stops. Allow for the walk and any bags before boarding.
In Rovinj, the bus station is outside the old-town lanes. If staying overnight, ask the host where to collect keys and whether the room involves stairs. A central map pin can hide a climb with luggage.
Keep the return in mind
For a day trip, save the return ticket or timetable before starting your walk. Enjoy the church area, lunch and the coast without leaving departure planning until after dinner.
If you are going straight to Pula Airport afterwards, add the separate airport bus and a proper buffer. For a slower trip, use the four-day Pula and Rovinj itinerary, which finishes in Rovinj rather than automatically returning to Pula.
