Leave from Santa Justa
Renfe’s route page helps you find the selected departure. Santa Justa is separate from Seville’s coach stations. Arrive with the operator’s requested margin instead of planning to reach the platform at departure time.
Arrive at María Zambrano
Málaga’s main station connects with local trains and other city transport. For an airport connection, add the C1 trip and the airline’s arrival margin. For a coastal resort, confirm the stop nearest your accommodation rather than assuming Málaga city is the final destination.
Keep the afternoon flexible
The Alcazaba, Gibralfaro and beach are different outings. After reaching your room, choose one main visit or a seafront walk. The hills and seasonal closing times can make an ambitious arrival-day plan uncomfortable.
Plan the arrival
The Seville guide and Málaga guide explain the local journeys, places to stay and visits. Add the main travel ticket separately to your daily spending plan. The distance above is a straight-line comparison between the city centres; your train, road or flight route can be longer.
A shorter route to the coast
Going straight to Málaga is one way to shorten a Seville-and-Andalusia trip. It bypasses the Granada stay in the ten-day itinerary, so do not keep its Alhambra booking or Córdoba–Granada leg by mistake. Recalculate hotel nights and transport costs for the shorter version.
If the Alhambra is a priority, compare Seville–Granada before choosing the shortcut. If Málaga is mainly an airport connection, compare the complete journey to the terminal with staying a final night in the city. The cheaper rail fare is not the whole decision when a flight has a fixed check-in deadline.
