What is Included in Each Daily Benchmark:
- Accommodation: 1 night in a central hostel dorm bed (backpacker) or 50 percent of a central private double room (mid-range couple).
- Food & Dining: 3 meals daily (supermarket breakfast, traditional lunch special, casual sit-down dinner with a local beverage).
- Local Transit: 2 municipal transit journeys per day.
- Sightseeing: 1 cultural attraction, museum admission, or historic monument per day.
- Contingency Buffer: 10 percent allowance for drinking water, coffee, tips, and incidentals.
Note: Excludes international arrival flights and long-distance intercity trains, which vary by departure point.
