The Two Choices

Standard Circumvesuviana (€4.20): Runs every 30 minutes. Non-air-conditioned, crowded, graffitied, with frequent buskers. Extreme vigilance required for pickpockets at Napoli Centrale and Pompeii Scavi.
Campania Express (€15.00): Air-conditioned, reserved seating, dedicated luggage racks, tourist express with fewer stops between April and October.
