Navigo Easy or Découverte: which Paris ticket to buy?
Choose a card and fare separately. Your arrival day, airport trips and the fixed Monday-to-Sunday week determine whether Navigo Week is worthwhile.
The Navigo weekly pass covers a fixed week from Monday to Sunday, rather than seven days from your first journey. That is the first detail to check. A Monday arrival and a Saturday arrival can produce very different value from the same pass.
Write down your travel dates and which airport journeys fall inside that week before comparing prices.
What it costs and covers
The 2026 Île-de-France Mobilités fare table lists the all-zones weekly pass at €32.40. Ordinary Métro–Train–RER singles are €2.55 and Bus–Tram singles €2.05. Airport tickets have separate pricing.
The weekly-pass conditions explain eligible transport and exclusions. The all-zones pass covers eligible airport rail journeys, including the RER B to Charles de Gaulle and metro line 14 to Orly, but not Orlyval. Tourist buses and some special services are also outside the offer.
Easy, Découverte or your phone?
The card is the holder for the fare you buy. Buying a card alone does not pay for a journey.

Compare the trips inside that week
Suppose you will make two eligible airport rail trips, each otherwise requiring a €14 airport ticket. Those total €28. A €32.40 weekly pass would then cost €4.40 more before any physical-pass cost, potentially leaving a small difference for the week's other travel.
That example only works if both airport journeys fall within the same valid week and use covered services. If your return flight is the following Monday, price that journey separately.
For a short central stay without airport rail travel, singles may be cheaper. Do not add imaginary trips to make the pass appear good value.
Buy and use the right week
Sales for a given week open on the preceding Friday and close on that week's Thursday, inclusive. Read the validity dates before paying.

For a new Découverte buyer, the first all-zones week costs €37.40 including the €5 pass. Two €14 airport tickets plus four €2.55 rail singles total €38.20 before any ticket-holder cost. That is a narrow €0.80 difference, so check the week and routes carefully; it is not a reason to add unnecessary journeys.
Load the pass successfully before travelling and validate it as directed, including transfers where required. Keep any physical supporting card complete and available for inspection.
